After leaked photos hit the web Lexus decided to reveal its new concept vehicle ahead of its official unveiling in January. A 2+2 sport coupe, the concept is to be called LF-LC, in line with Lexus concept naming nomenclature. The LF-LC will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit at 6:25am AEDST on January 10, 2012. “A clean sheet of paper design, coming at the request of Lexus headquarters in Japan, LF-LC combines Lexus technological expertise with natural, organic shapes to connect car and driver,” said Tony Cramb, Lexus Australia Chief Executive. “The lines of the car are designed to emphasise motion, which creates a distinctive look for this futuristic sport coupe.” Conceived as an exercise to explore the future of Lexus design, the LF-LC was created at the company’s Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California.
